This family project was a big one. From single family home to multi-fam living, ADU addition to duplex then condo conversion (Crawford Crest HOA), our Crawford Road property may have been on the brink of an identity crisis.

We gave it its first facelift to prepare for tenants, saying goodbye to the red sink, fireplaces and chimney, added a kitchen downstairs and a locking privacy door at the adjoining interior staircase. We waded through the COVID years and held on, working together with tenants through the uncertainty of… everything.

It serves as an example of housing creativity, property maximization, and innovative navigation through ever-changing county codes. Unassuming from the front, the original 2300 sq ft house came with 5 bedrooms, three bathrooms and two stories allowing for a separate entrance and “mother-in-law” apartment opportunity. (Doesn’t look like much at first glance, does it?) The sleeping mammoth has been a cozy home to many wonderful groups and now has two owners. We retained the right side (Unit B) and recently sold the left (Unit A), acquiring a fantastic new neighbor.
